Our Dances
Cafe Bailar Dance Club is a non-profit dance organization founded in 2003 that provides its members and guests the opportunity to dance socially in an atmosphere where people will enjoy coming back month after month. We hope that you will enjoy the monthly dances so much that you will encourage others to participate in our friendly, smoke-free and alcohol-free environment.
WE ARE AT DUENDE DANCE STUDIO LOCATED AT 5808B W 36th St, St Louis Park
(The studio entrance and parking lot are at the rear of the building)

Cafe Bailar dances are held the 2nd Saturdays and 4th Saturdays of every month at Duende Dance Studio located at 5808B West 36th Street, St. Louis Park. This is the former Retro Ballroom, where we were previously located. Parking is in the large parking lot at the rear of the building or on the street. The studio entrance is at the rear of the building.
The dances start with a free group lesson from 7:30-8:30 pm with different professional instructors each time. The dance follows the lesson from 8:30-10:45 pm. Admission is $10 for Cafe Bailar Dance Club members, $15 for guests, or $7 for students 25 and under. Memberships are $30 per year. Every year we also have our Member Appreciation Dance where members are FREE that night!
A variety of Ballroom and Latin music is played to suit these popular styles of dance: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Salsa, East and West Coast Swing, Hustle, Night Club 2-Step, Bolero, and more!
